colourful corn

deepika and bernard at pebble garden gave us some corn seeds.
they were from the western ghats of karnataka.

such beautiful colours and combinations...

Hard to find pure breeds of corn, most of them have been contaminated with GM corn. How are the kernels, hard? Good exercise for the jaws?

ss - wee de-kerneled the corn and boiled it well and added it to a salad. it would be the standard prescription for inclusion into any dish.

ss - you can request :-) may be tough to implement...

anon - very very chewy. hoping to be able to convert a few into seeds.
how the hell did G corn slime itself into the farms and absolutely no noise at all...

They look like pomegranate (spelling?) seeds.
