are you really suprised? i read the article in the print edition and was nodding my head sagely. i have seen plates-full of midday meal brought to the (fat) teacher by this really tiny kid. at least the teacher felt embarrassed when we showed up and trying to cover it up saying, these kids give us so much respect, they insist on doing this for us. Sure eh?
We are a remarkable nation, for sure.
only surprised by seeing it in TOI.
live versions of same i have seen umpteen times.
but to see a full scale indictable article and photo is quite something.
but have to tell you that i have met some students recently who have non-stop raved about their formal school teachers (incl BMC ones). so all is not lost yet.
nice cover up all the same.
