back into bombay bustle

returned to the city as well as work and as expected, am swamped like before, like i never left :-)

as work expands, the time for extended analysis and wisdom shrink and with that the frequency of posting too suffers.

to return to tons of inspiration and motivation is definitely a tonic from the endless mayhem and monstrosity of media reporting that i have been immersed in.

welcome back. longish comment of yesterday got wiped out. diwali is upon us. i have bombs exploding all around me. i am alternately ecstatic about the holidays coming up and depressed about the pollution. have never been in mumbai at this time of year.. bound to be brutal, what do you say?

diwali is a good time for the faint-of-eared.
it is more than brutal as the laid down rules of supreme court on noise levels gare gloriously flouted. still we do keep hearing about kids who are giving up on crackers and are environmentally conscious.

Thats one point i am happy about. This is my first zero pollution diwali. Just sweets and diyas. Exactly opposite of kbpm :-)

Of course, i am missing family and friends, but you can't have your cake and eat it too....
