bombay has just recovered from a hot march.
april has eased off from the high 30's that was almost the entire march. but still there is a solid urban island effect which i am not sure if the weather vanes are catching. with so much more concrete in our roads, this in only likely to get worse.
also march was drier dead heat like pune and delhi have and not the regular sticky, sweaty heat that coastal cities get.
almost all over the place, the summer is becoming hotter.
check out pune over next five days. sizzling.
bangalore is hotter than chennai. weird things happen.

Check out the numbers in the yellow boxes too. Thats what is weird abt Pune
that is correct. a differential of 24 is very desertlike.
and this is the highest among all the cities i checked.
that is wierd. true
It rained cats and dogs yesterday. Just getting wierder....what with the climatic changes, Global warming and all...
There was a snap of the Sydney Opera house in TOI a few days back. They cut down the number of lights around it, with just a thin line of lights to outline the shape of the structure. Very impressive and worth learning from..Did u see it?
it has rained in the other 2 cities i highlighted as well over the weekend. i attributed it to the tamil/punjab/bengal new year days.
or may be because of the global influence of my blogging.
you must be referring to this report.
it is more than just around the opera house. the whole city was blacked out for an hour to highlight global warming. stupendous.
Mumbai is not in the reach of your influence i guess...:-)
Yes, thats the report i was referring to.
v - the only 3 cities which i analysed and linked are the 3 cities which experienced showers over the weekend.
tough chance that it is a mere coincidence ;-)
Right, you only referred Mumbai, did not analyze...or add link. Don't even do it, Mumbai might be hit by a cyclone. The influence of blog + your physical presence...:-)
